V is a medium high drive boy with the energy you would expect from a Malinois his age. His name "V" came from the fact that like many Malinios as a puppy, he has velocircaptor similarities. He is still very much a puppy and acts like a puppy. He loves playing with his ball and kong (but keep track of them as he tends to get distracted and lose them!). He does great in a kennel, rides quietly in a crate and doesnt try to escape his yard - though we dont recommend leaving him in a yard when no one is home to keep an eye on him. V is house broken though is still learning manners to stay off counters, etc. He gets along well with females his size. He plays rough but will back down from a dominant female. He does not do well with males and should not be in a home with small animals. He needs to be in a home with significant breed experience.Though he is affectionate and fun, he needs consistent, strict structure from everyone in the house as he can be reactive when he doesnt get his way. He will also try to intimidate new people so he needs slow introductions and strict rules on how to greet new people. He does throw tantrums on occasion. For this reason, V is best suited for a single person home or a home where all members can consistently apply the same rules. V has excellent recall and a start on basic commands but will need ongoing work to continue reinforcing and building upon his foundation.
