Buckley is a gorgeous male Bernese Mountain Dog/Dalmatian mix (quite an unusual combination!) born 5/13/2017. A perfect word to describe Buckley is FUN! He loves people and loves other large dogs, both male and female. Hes not a fan of smaller dogs or cats. Buckley definitely got the best of both of his breeds; he is very smart, playful, and energetic, but also easygoing, calm and gentle with people. When Buckley plays he plays hard, so a timid or older dog would probably be overwhelmed. He is, after all, a large dog: while only 82 pounds, he is tall and muscular. Buckley has had a difficult time in his short life, going from home to home then ending up at FOPAS. Sadly he was recently returned to FOPAS after 3 years in a home, due to no fault of his own. Thankfully it has not affected his disposition and he is still our sweet, friendly boy. He is very strong on leash, so his new family needs to be prepared to work with him on this and help teach him not to pull. Due to his large size, we are suggesting a home with no small children. Buckley is housebroken. He appears to not like older men.
