Checkers is a sensitive and goofy senior who is looking for his forever person. He loves to cuddle and wants to be loved, but he does have his crazy moments. He is good with dogs, but would prefer a home without cats ... he likes to chase them. He prefers his person most. He has some separation anxiety and would do best in an adult home where his person is available (retired or working remotely) to give him the patience, security and love he deserves. He prefers women and is anxious around men. Could you be that person?

Checkers does have Cushings disease and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life. He also needs a senior or reducing diet as Cushings causes weight gain. He has allergies and needs an allergy shot every 4 to 6 weeks. He is up to date on all shots and preventatives. Being part Bichon, he also needs a groom every 6-8 weeks to avoid matting.
