Henry is such a silly, active guy! He is a very friendly, 80lb, 18mo old boy that loves to romp through the yard and play chase with his person.  He will dash and dance, and tease you to try and catch him.  And when the game is over, he will lean into you for lots of head rubbing and affection.  He is an energetic boy and he is quite large so he must have a large breed experienced person.  Henry will be neutered in about 4 weeks so he needs a foster home until then.  He gets along just fine with other dogs and loves to play chase with his big foster siblings, but he does not need a doggy playmate in the home.  He does like to explore the yard and do a little sunbathing so he must have a 6ft, securely fenced yard.  He is also a very loyal dog that wants to be where his people are, whether it’s inside the house or out.  He will bark when he hears something outside of the yard so he’ll be a great watch dog.  Otherwise, he only barks when he wants your attention.  He is crate trained and house trained so can be left alone for a reasonable amount of time. He still needs some basic training and leash training, but he’s very smart and loves training games so he’ll be a model k9 citizen in no time!  He’s wonderful with new people but because he can be a bit exuberant and jumps for a greeting, an adult only home is best…. Or kids must be over 12yrs old. He has not been tested with cats so no kitties please.
