I may be biased, but is duke just the cutest dog you ever did see?  Its his ears that do it I think.  But his eyes are so expressive! 

Duke could be ok with other dogs with an introduction but being an only dog would be ideal: that way he can get all the attention!  He is funny, energetic, handsome and he is blessed with a very unique and expressive personality that just makes him adorable.
