Sadly because of that I was hit by a car & left in a ditch. A nice lady called the rescue & they came out & picked me up & took me directly to their vet where I was given something called a x-ray. I was found to have not 1 but 2 broken back legs (in multiple places) & the rescue was given the choice of what to do for me. They chose to send me to a specialist who fixed both my back legs! I was on crate rest for a very long time (almost 12 weeks) so my legs would get strong again. My right back leg does bow outward some but I play just like any other dog. I love the other dogs in my foster home & tolerate the cats. Ive been around small humans but they scare me a little so a home without them would be best. Because I was in a crate for so long when I couldnt walk Im having to relearn about going outside to potty but my foster mom says Im doing pretty good. I like to ride in the car & I love to go on slow walks to sniff everything. I am neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, UTD on flea/tick prevention & worming & microchipped. I will ALWAYS have some issues with my legs & require joint supplements daily. As I get older the vet expects me to develop arthritic changes as well.
