Lennox Lewis

Lewis is a boxer that was surrendered to animal control. He needs a dog savvy home with a privacy fence. Lewis is great in the house once he settles in. He is not a big fan of being walked so you can actually feel no guilt over not walking him.
He is a beautiful, intelligent boy that has received a fair amount of training. In fact Lewis has been living with a dog trainer for several months. She has graciously offered to consult with his new owners to insure Lewis has a smooth and successful transition in his new home. Lewis can be a nervous nelly so a calm home would be ideal for him. Lewis is on medication but it’s fairly inexpensive. He has some allergy issue to do he needs to eat a high grade food. If you are a dog savvy boxer lover maybe Lewis is the dog for you. Lewis was bought as an adult from a breeder so we feel that he just never received the training and confidence he needed as a young pup. His foster mom has worked really hard to set up Lewis for success. If you would like to adopt Lewis please fill out the required application at animalheartline.org

No out of state adoptions
We ask that adopters live within 50 miles of his foster home in Lisle Il

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
