Buck is a 6yr old, neutered. male  Boxer mix that weighs 75lbs. He is very happy go lucky guy and loves anything outdoors. Inside he would like to cuddle of lay around near you, but also doesnt mind going into his crate. He gets very exceited to go on an adventure or walk. He would do well with someone who is active and likes to go on lots of walks, hiking, kayaking or even just to run errands in the car. He understands potty is outside only and so far has no accidents or marking indoors. He gets along with his doggy siblings but does not really play with them indoors at all. He prefers to play outside with all of them and to go on runs, walks and adventures with them. He is very interested in the cat and likes to chase and corner him so a home without a cat or one that is very dog saavy. If not lounging around inside, he likes to look out the window and think about all new adventures to come. He has not barked at all yet even the aquirrels can run past the window but once outside all squirrels and bunnies know to run fast because he does like to chase them. He is working on some more proper walking on a leash skills because he gets so excited to see other dogs and humans. He has not jumped up on anyone he has met yet but at home he does like to jump on dads lap when he is on the couch. If you are looking for a companion for fun adventures or a companion for your dog for fun adventures, Buck is your guy!

Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. PLEASE make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application.\xa0 We strive to process all applications in a timely manner.\xa0 You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions.\xa0 Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email.\xa0 Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for.\xa0 Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. \xa0 Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants. WE REQUIRE ALL MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD TO BE PRESENT AT ANY MEET AND GREET. This \xa0includes any current dogs in the home. 

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers: spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 \xa0months) and a certified veterinary inspection.

\xa0Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, as we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. \xa0 Approved applicants not chosen for the dog \xa0applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months.\xa0 We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.\xa0 Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number.\xa0 Please be patient with us, as Lucky Mutts Rescue is run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full time jobs, have families and also foster dogs.
