Description:
Must adopt with bond mate, JerryHi! My name is Ben, but you can also call me Benny. I am bonded with my brother Jerry. Our fosters say we have strong personalities. Our first life was very, very hard and we were rescued with 24 other family members. Our new life has been great and I get to spend it with my brother and my best friend, Jerry!

I like to explore with Jerry, but I prefer that he leads the way since I am a little more cautious. Outside of the expen, Im always looking for a new corner to stretch out in. My foster family is helping me be braver, so I might approach you and give you a little nudge.

I enjoy my time out of my ex-pen, and I love to zoom around the room and do binkies. Like most bunnies, I prefer to keep my feet on the ground, but I might be willing to sit on your lap for a treat or a salad.

I love snacks! Even though I am timid, you will get a chance to pet me when you feed me salad. I share my salads with Jerry, even though I think he might be eating more carrots than I am. I also love crunchy apple banana treats and dried cranberries. When we get our treats, I try to eat as fast as I can so Jerry doesnt steal mine.

I love my brother Jerry so much. Hes really good at grooming my ears, and its also really comfortable to snuggle up with him at naptime. We have a lot of space, but we still love to nap next to each other, often in the same box. Even so, if he has a really cool stick, I might take it from him and eat it all by myself.

I am litter box trained, and I am really good about not peeing anywhere but my litter box. I do leave the occasional cocoa puff outside of my litter box, but rarely outside of the ex-pen (unless I get startled).

Jerry and I like to be where the action is in our foster home and have gotten used to household noise, but sometimes we still get startled, because we are bunnies. We dont know how we would react to kids or other pets, because we havent met any yet.

We have our own YouTube video. https://youtu.be/vcqxY56jkIA

Jerry and I would love to meet you and tell you about our bunny lives!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
