In shelter Dog

Van Nuys, CA, 91405
Pet name:
Canaan Dog
Jasper is here to brighten your day!

Jasper and his siblings were rescued from the Downey shelter shortly after they were born. We were able to get them and their mom Ruby out and into a foster home where they spent the first several weeks of their lives growing up together and growing into a really special litter of puppies.

Theyve all got a decent balance of energy, not too crazy but they like to play with one another to pass the time. Their mom, Ruby, is a little shy at first and will greet you with some barking, but the puppies are curious and friendly right out of the gate. We think theyre some kind of Shepherd mix, possibly with a bit of Ridgeback in there.

Jasper is such a sweet and gentle pup. Hes very submissive and never misbehaves. Hes cuddley and loves to give hugs and kisses.

Theyll likely end up being medium size dogs, somewhere around 40-50 pounds.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
