Hi! ...and welcome to MY profile page. I am Bleu and Im delighted that you stopped by! Before coming to AARF Rescue, I was a little baby who was dumped. In a box. At a park. But, I dont remember anything from that time in life - I only know happy times. I am super sweet, extremely loving, and apparently Im very funny, too because my Foster Mom laughs at me and smiles at me daily.

Some of my favorite things are, watching TV on the couch or at the feet of my Foster Mom, running and playing in puddles, chewing on my toys and learning new tricks.

I am completely potty trained, I am leashed trained, I know "sit" and "stay", and Im learning how to "shake". Wont you bring me home with you and teach me YOUR favorite tricks? I would love to be ALL yours, and keep you smiling and laughing. Thanks again for stopping by and best wishes.

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.

Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency. This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue.

under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.

You will be notified via email once your application is approved. Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations. Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteers experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
