Hey there Im Mickey! Im a 10 year old boy. Some of my best friends could tell you just how loyal and loveable I truly am. Im so loyal that when around my favorite people, I want to protect them. I would love someone who will keep me as active as my age would allow, as I do love to go for walks and even love to swim! Stranger danger is a term that my friends might use to describe me but its really because when I love you, I want to protect you and my space from other people! I would want to protect you even from your friends, so keep in mind I would likely need my own room of a big comfy crate to hang out in if you have company over. I could potentially live with another submissive dog, but we would have to meet and form a friendship first. I would be best in a home with no kids. My favorite activities include exploring new places (where theyre arent many people), swimming in safe places (even a kiddie pool) and going on car rides! I also love to get pet and receive love from my best friends. I am working with my Woof Pack leader and am able to get out of the shelter and explore from time to time. I would want to meet you a few times before I would be comfortable with you, but if you give me treats, throw my toys for me, and come on a few walks, Im sure we would become great friends. I really hope youll come meet me, and dont mind that I require a little patience. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Mickey
*Mickey has extreme protective tendencies and would need to be in a home where no one comes in and out of the home without a careful introduction. It will take several visits to the shelter for Mickey to feel comfortable with you.
