Murphy is a 2 years old Catahula Leopard dog mix. In  January 2021, he was pulled by a local rescue from a high kill shelter in Illinois. We don’t know what his background was. He was extremely terrified and emotionally shut down. We were able to work through most of this and Murphy blossomed. Unfortunately about a year ago he decided he does not like other animals in the home. Since Murphy does not like other animals, he needs to be an only pet. He will unfortunately attack unprovoked. He must go to a home that will commit to a lifetime with him being the only pet in their home. He is a very sweet affectionate pup that loves to snuggle and play fetch. Murphy can be protective of his owner if he feels they are being threatened. He likes all people and kids. He is potty trained with a doggy door. Neutered. Heart worm negative. Up to date on all vaccines. He does have anxiety and is on Reconcile for this. Located in Eau Claire, Michigan. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about Murphy.
