In order to alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Societys physical locations. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. Yuki is a really playful and sweet dog. He loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed with you. He really enjoys playing tug or fetching a ball (though he may not drop the ball). Hes housetrained and extremely well behaved when youre eating dinner or cooking. It takes him a little time to get used to new people but once hes warmed up to them hes very happy to see them again and will demand pets/attention. Yukis either a complete couch potato or just full-on crazy energy mode; theres not much in between. Hes done a daycare and train and I tried a private trainer as well. Hes really obedient in the house, knows a variety of commands. Yuki has territorial/leash reactive behaviors that I have tried to work with multiple trainers to help him with; unfortunately his behavior has not improved since our move into the city and I have been unable to give him the training and attention he needs.
