Description:
Boogie is a sweet tiny, senior chihuahua. Boogie is 8 years old and weighs 4 lbs. He’s a beautiful little apple head boy and he’s just adorable. He’s affectionate, sweet natured, and loves to be held in your lap. Like most chihuahuas, Boogie growls a little if another dog wants to share your lap. He’s not a fighter tho, so he acquiesces. Boogie would definitely always need to be supervised when outside but we’re also checking to see if he’s potty pad trained as well. He does seem to be housetrained at his foster’s house.
If you’d like to have a sweet lapdog to keep you company, Boogie is a perfect candidate. We can’t even imagine how he ended up in a shelter.
If you’d like to meet Boogie, the first step is to hit the START YOUR INQUIRY
button and request an adoption application.
Please allow 1-2 weeks to finish processing your application, but please know our volunteers are working hard on it. Please note that we do not hold our dogs when someone applies for it.
Boogie’s adoption fee is $200 and is tax deductible.

NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet our dogs. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit.
We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support.

Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always try to select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs and try to find the best match for both dog and human.
We leave a dog’s profile online until either it has been adopted, has received several applications, or is not able to be adopted for some reason.
