Look at that adorable face! This little guy is Howard. He is a 10-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix (Chug). Howard is a bit overweight at 20-pounds. He arrived with his friend Skippy. We’d love for them to stay together. However, we think they’d be okay separate as well.

Howard is friendly, laid back, and okay with other dogs his size. He does not enjoy the company of larger dogs. Howard tolerates cats and would be okay with older, gentle children. Howard is okay being crated. He can manage short walks, but he tires easily. Especially when it’s hot out.

Have you room for this adorable boo (and maybe Skippy too)? Then, please apply:

His minimum adoption donation amount is $245. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.

We are located in Bloomington, IL
We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state.
Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.

Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
