BIO:
Hi everyone, I’m Johnson, an adorable, happy-go-lucky puppy rescued by FTF from an overcrowded Texas shelter. I love to play, with humans, my toys, or with other dogs (I get along with pooches of any size and need another dog in my forever family to help me with my confidence). In fact, a favorite pastime is being chased around the backyard by my much larger foster siblings—I can run like the wind! Then like a typical puppy, one minute I’m Johnny Rocket, the next I crash and am ready for a snooze, either snuggling in an available lap or curling up on the big dog bed, covered with comfy blankets. 

Here are a few other facts about me. I’m a little shy when I first meet new people. That doesn’t last long, though, as my natural curiosity and friendliness quickly win out. I’m already potty-trained, and would love a fenced yard to enjoy while I continue to work on my leash-walking skills. Of course, I have lots of other things to learn, too, so signing me up for training classes is a requirement for my adoption. Since I’ll do almost anything for a treat, you’ll find I catch on fast and thrive on praise. Lastly, because I’m such a little guy, very small children may overwhelm me, at least initially, but I have no problem with older kiddos.

*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
