Description:
Introducing Chips and Salsa! They are a bonded pair that were sadly relinquished by their previous owner when she no longer wanted them. It is obvious that these two boys were not properly cared for in their previous situation - they came to us in need of some TLC and love. They deserve a safe home where they can feel loved and cherished - they deserve it! They are very attached to each other and we want to find a home for them where they can stay together.

Chips is an 11 year old male Chihuahua and Salsa is a 10 year old male terrier mix. These two precious seniors love to hang out and get pets. Salsa loves to talk and will carry on a conversation with you. Chip loves to snuggle and you will find him nestled into Salsa at all times. They are sweet boys that love attention.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or familys needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs. Please e-mail Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org to setup a day or time to meet with one of our adoption counselors and our potential adoptees. Thank you!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
