McGruff comes to rescue at a very young age (approx 1 year old; weighs 13 lbs) and a horrible background.  He was found tied out on a partial leash, a strap from an old purse, and part of a belt --  he had only about 4 feet of space; NO shelter, NO fresh water or food.  

Yet despite that -- McGruff is one of THE nicest young pups weve had in a while!  He is GREAT with other dogs (small and large);  goes outside to potty OR uses potty paper when inside.  He is not destructive in the house, does not dig under or climb fences.  He is, however, way happy for human attention so he is learning to control his enthusiasm through basic manners training.  McGruff is smart, happy, and LOVES everything and everyone!
