Monroe is a sweet old guy in search of his very own loving home. He was found as a stray and we have the feeling he hasnt had the best life. Hes a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 14 pounds. 

Monroe is deaf and has limited vision but that doesnt stop him from running through the grass and tippy tapping at dinnertime. His favorite things are head scritches, roast turkey and hanging out in the yard with his people. Hes a happy and fairly independent little guy. Hes good with other dogs and is likely fine with cats, too. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but if you give him turkey hell follow you anywhere.

Monroe is generally quiet and only barks when he knows dinner is on the way. Hes happy to lounge in his dog bed in the kitchen for much of the day.
Monroe does have a stage 2 or 3 heart murmur but that doesnt slow him down at all.
