Description:
Vinny is a 2 year old male chihuahua mix. He was pulled from a high kill shelter after being owner surrendered with 3 of his brothers. The home he came from was a hoarding situation. While Vinny does not appear to have been abused in any way-he was socially neglected and is having to learn what human touch and interactions are besides just being fed and watered. Vinny loves to be pet- and comes to you for attention if you are sitting however i send he is extremely nervous and doesnt know how to relax and retreats to his crate for safety. He has come a very long way in a short period of time! He is now jumping up on the couch for pets and love...

Vinny has a split ear that is healed - we believe it came from fighting over resources in his previous home. Vinny gets along well with other dogs his size but doesnt seem to care for big dogs- hes very fearful of them he is truly the sweetest boy and only wants to be loved- hes just not sure how that works so he will need one on one time to teach him! He just discovered toys...and he loves them- but he doesnt necessarily want to share but he will play a good game of tug-o- war!
