?LARGE in love despite his small size, sweet, calm and cuddly Clark gives new meaning to the term “lap dog.” Doggedly devoted to his foster mom, he follows her everywhere, adores being carried, and finds any excuse he can to curl up in a ball and sleep on her lap. (He would stay there all day if he could). He also enjoys being outdoors, especially if she’s with him, exploring the yard, and while he has canine foster sibs, he only pays attention to them if they claim his prized position on her lap. Fond of treats and chew sticks, and motivated by treats and, of course, lap time, he comes when called, barks when he needs to go potty, but because he lifts his leg in the house, he wears – and tolerates – a belly band between outings. Not a fan of small crates, he sleeps soundly in a large crate at night, and due to his size, is best suited to an affectionate adult-only home with laps a-plenty to keep him comfortable and content fur-ever. Clark is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Clark, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
