Max is an 8 month old male Chihuahua mix.  He is a whole lot of character for his 17 pounds of body weight!  He has long legs, a very short coat and a tail that wags pretty much all the time.
  He does fairly well with house training but will need continued work ..... the problem we have is he loves being with our grandkids so much and they are not real good at getting him out for potty breaks so he has some accidents.  But he does appear to be pretty much house trained.
He is great with all the other dogs from a 160 pound gentle newfie to a dog half his size.   I would guess he would be good with cats as he does not chase the chickens.
Max knows sit and responds well to no.  He could easily squeeze through our fence as it is not made for small dogs but when he sticks his head through the slats we say NO and he immediately stops and comes back to us.   He loves to play with other dogs, especially tug.
He is fast, smart and loyal.
He needs work on socialization with new people as he tends to bark and needs warm up time.
Max is going to be someones next heart dog!
