ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS… I’m Calvin, a 2-month-old, 5 lb, Long Haired Chihuahua mixed with who-knows-how-many-dog-breeds! My mama is a pretty and fluffy Long Haired Chihuahua mix and weighs 14 lbs (see her picture above). She was one of 18 dogs rescued from a terrible living situation near the Texas-Mexico border and when 4 Little Paws rescued everyone, she was already pregnant. 1 month later on 7/20/22, she had 3 beautiful puppies and thats where I come into this story.

I am the cuddle bug of this little group and always the first pup to greet my foster mom when she walks in. She says I am a friendly boy, active, brave, and adventurous and when I’m all tuckered out my favorite activity is snuggling in your arms. I love all humans and other dogs and kitty cats and because I’m a puppy I LOVE to play! I sleep nicely in a crate snuggled up with my siblings and when I wake up in the morning my little tail is already wagging. I’m just always a happy boy and let’s face it… I’m a looker! I will be branching out on my own next week when I move to Connecticut cuz I am up for adoption and ready to find a forever family! Thats where you come in. If you think I’m handsome, and you know you do, and you want to make me yours, then click on the “More About 4 Little Paws” link on the right side of this page so you can get an application turned in. When you come to pick me up, our eyes will meet and it will be love at first sight! I’m sure of it!

* We receive an overwhelming amount of applications. If we do not respond immediately, it does not mean your application or inquiry is denied. The dog you have applied for may already be adopted or in the process of being adopted. We encourage you to email us your #1, #2, and #3 choice, and we will be happy to help you find a pup to complete your family! Also, please continue watching our listings as we post new dogs multiple times a week. There is no need to fill out another application, just let us know what other dogs you are interested in as they come up.
