PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE EMAILING WITH ANY QUESTIONS AS WE TRY TO INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION THAT IS KNOWN. WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WORKING FULL-TIME JOBS AND APOLOGIZE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE.
Meet Oreo....an approximate 7 year old male Chihuahua that weighs 16lbs. He has a good temperament, enjoys other small friendly dogs and is crate trained. He loves a blanket that he can burrow under. No apartments/condos please or young children.
He has been neutered, current on all vaccines including Rabies and Bordetella, heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. He has been started on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative. All dogs shed and most of our dogs are mix breeds and are not recommended for any person suffering with allergies.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please. Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type.
1. Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org. It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application. Please notify your vets office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us.
2. Background checks, vet references and verification of home ownership are done. If we are considering a renter, landlords are contacted to ensure breed and size of dog is permitted and if a pet deposit is required.
3. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved to arrange a homevisit. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs and due to high volume apologize that we are unable to respond to everyone.
