DOGS DESCRIPTION Big Boy is a total love who only wants to be petted by his person and sit in your lap all day. He is shy at first but is soooo affectionate after he warms up, and will give you hugs and kisses and ask to play in his sweet little way. Big Boy is so hoping to find his forever home soon. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard as he is still acclimating to walking on leash, but he is a smart cookie and learns quickly. Hes got the crate training covered and hasnt had any "accidents" in his foster home so we think hes housetrained! Will you give this sweet boy a chance to be part of your life? Big Boy is ready and waiting to meet you!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
