You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kona (GA) is a neutered male Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Kona is 8 months old at the time of intake in September 2021. Kona is good with people and other dogs. We took Kona in from rural Georgia where he was suffering with an old break to a leg which Kona suffered when he was deliberately run over. We immediately brought Kona to our veterinary partner for treatment of his broken leg. Kona is a very sweet boy who is great with other dogs. We cant change what Konas life was like before we rescued him, but we can certainly change the rest of his life. And that change will bring him a happy, loving home where he will be cherished as a member of his forever family. If you would like Kona to spend the rest of his life as a member of your family, please apply online to adopt Kona (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDRs adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pets location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
