Oso!

This 5-year old chow mix was saved from being euthanized hours before the deadline - and Houston Chow Chow Connection just couldn’t say no. He is the HAPPIEST BOY!!! My goodness he is friendly and such a wiggle worm that it was hard to get good photos!!

He is a bigger boy, about 70lbs, is up to date on shots and is neutered, but he is boarding at our vet and is completing fast kill HW treatment. Once he finishes the treatment, he will be available for transport. He is good with other dogs, cats unknown at this time.

He is energetic and definitely needs an active family. He definitely needs a yard in addition to walks so he can work off that young-pup high energy he’s got. He does ok on a leash and will need a little work on that especially since he’s a big dude at 72lbs. He is not having accidents in his kennel!!

Love his cute face and want to make him yours?! Fill out an application to adopt Oso!! https://form.jotform.us/41173109602142

Oso is currently in boarding in Houston but can be transported to the Northeast by way of professional transportation companies for a cost of about $250-$400 depending on distance and the company used.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
