Meet Rizo!
This handsome chow chow came to the shelter as an owner surrender. He is around 2 years old. Rizo is a very special dog who takes some time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he will be your best friend and allow you to give him all the loves. Rizo loves to run and is very treat motivated. He knows how to sit, shake and loves to fetch the ball. He walks well on a leash, and gets along with most other dogs. He doesnt seem to mind cats either. He is leary of new people, so slow introductions on a leash are a must with this boy. We do not want him to be put into a situation where he would be uncomfortable and feel like he needs to lash out or bite. Overall, Rizo is a well mannered and sweet boy who would love a family and a yard of his own. 

Chow chow experience is not required to adopt this boy, but it is highly preferred.
