Please welcome Charlie Bucket. He is guessed to be a Rough Collie mix. He was born 10/6/2018. He is a super sweet, loving and playful little boy. He is currently about 30/35 pounds but he could stand to lose some weight (about 10 pounds) which we are currently working on.
While in his foster home, he has ignored the resident cat. Overall he is great with all the dogs of all sizes - both male and female. On occasion, he can get persnickety with a dog. He seems to pick and choose when he minds them in his face and when he doesnt. But it has never escalated into a fight and he corrects very easily. So for this reason, we are recommending that if there is another dog in the household, then he would probably do better with a more submissive dog. We are also recommending that any children in the home be older/school aged children as he did nip a toddler in his previous home. We have not had any incidents while in foster care but again this is just a precaution.
He has been doing well with crate training. He walks in for the most part when we say "crate" and he is very quiet in his crate and he keeps it clean. He has had limited free roam of the house while we are home and he has not had any potty accidents. We also allow him to sleep in the bedroom with us and again - no overnight potty accidents.
Charlie is a really good boy and LOVES his people. He also had the cutest little eyebrows! He gives sweet little kisses and loves for you to rub his ears. He has a lot of love to give!
