Rochester, IN, 46975
Pet name:
Meet Anubis!

He came in to us on 7/12/22. That is over 70 days here with us!

Anubis is a Collie/Labrador Retriever mix. Hes a big boy at 87 pounds! Anubis is 1.5 years old and full of life! He loves to run laps in our big backyard, but once hes tired, he loves to take a good nap in the shade. He loves to excercise and be outside! If you are looking for a jogging/running/hiking/adventure buddy, then look no further!

Anubis still has so much life and energy in him - that an agility or obedience class would do wonders for him! He is an incredibley intelligent dog that needs to be challenged. K9 classes are just one way to do that!

Anubis is not a fan of other dogs, especially males. He might be able to get along with a submissive female, but we are unsure. He is a definite NO for cats. He is much too interested in them! He is overall good tempered and mannered, and should be good with children also!

Anubis is neutered, up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives, and HW negative. His adoption fee has been SPONSORED for an approved applicant!

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an application which can be found here:

Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! Any other dogs in the home with need to come to FCAC for a meet and greet as well.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
