PLEASE HELP US PAY FOR ACES VET BILLS AND MEDICATION.
Ace is a 5 yr old neutered dalmatian male we rescued from the Pasadena Humane Society September 2020. He is a stone former and after his second stone blockage, his family turned him into the Pasadena Humane Society. He was completely blocked. We rescued him and he immediately had stone surgery to clear out his stones which were large and numerous. He is now on a homemade low purine diet (rice, eggs and cheese with veggies and apples for treats) and purinol to help prevent further stone formation.
Ace also has mobility issues. He has radial nerve damage in his left front leg. As a result, he usually holds his left front leg up when hes standing or running although he can and does occasionally use that leg and can balance himself on that leg if he needs to. He has a rocking horse motion on leash but does run well off leash. He is on purinol medication to help prevent stone formation and gabapentin to help with his nerve pain. He eats only homemade low purine food and drinks purified water.
Because of his health and mobility issues, Ace is not really adoptable. But he is a nice friendly boy, enjoys life and we are very glad to have saved him. Ace is in foster care where he has plenty of room to run as much, or as little, as he wants, gets to play with other dogs, go in the car (which he loves) and has a great life. We are a small non-profit rescue and could use help in paying for his medication and his vet care.
