Meet Rolo! 

This gorgeous boy is a 3 year old, 95lb "Rotterman", a Doberman & Rottweiler mix. Rolo is a magnificent specimen! This big, friendly guy is the king of fetch and a super goofy, big puppy at heart.

You wouldn’t know it now, but this pup started his life as a stray. He was found on the streets of Houston, Texas, sunbathing in the grass. We thought surely that this sure gorgeous boy belonged to someone, but he was neither chipped, tagged of neutered. Rolo came to the rescue heartworm positive and went through treatment with flying colors. This boy is a super loving, energetic goofball. After receiving the medical attention he needed, lots of training and socialization, Rolo has really come out of his shell and shown his true potential! 

Rolo is a very athletic dog with lots of energy. He LOVES to play fetch and will never turn down the opportunity to play. He is ball obsessed and his favorite toy, a neon green plastic ball, that makes squeaky noises, will come with him! Rolo is rarely seen without his BFF ball in his mouth! 

Due to his breed and size, Rolo does need a home with large breed experience with this magnificent guardian breed. Rolo is very friendly with female dogs his size. He would do best in a home with a female companion that loves to play and with a family who is experienced with proper introductions. No small dogs or cats for Rolo, as he does not always understand his size and boundless energy. He is a confident, assertive guy and would do best with male dogs who are not overly dominant. This goofy guy will bring you lots of laughs and entertainment with his playful energy and puppy like antics. He is known for racing through the house, and stealing shoes, because he loves to play chase! 

Rolo is kennel and impeccably house trained. He is a big, bouncy guy and loves to be on the couch, jump on the bed and truly does enjoy his zoomies! Rolo is extremely food motivated and will do anything for a hotdog! His love language is snacks. This guy is also super affectionate and loves to sit in your lap, as if he isnt almost 100lbs. Rolo is very active and does need a home who understands the energy level and activity requirements of this breed. He does well on the leash and knows his basic commands, such as sit and "go to your house". A home with emphasis on training and structure for Rolo with adequate activity will set him up best for success. 

Rolo is fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. The only thing he is missing is his perfect family!
