Description:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Smokey was found in Austin by an individual who tried to keep him but she was informed she was not able to have a cat. Smokey is about 2 years old as of 4/2022. He is a people lover but does not really like to associate with other cats. He likes to play with a string and bat around a ball. He can be a somewhat aggressive player so probably would not be a good candidate for a family with young children. Smokey has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is now neutered and is current on shots. We are looking for an indoor only home for Smokey. His adoption fee is $50. A pet porter is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS. To meet Smokey or any of our other cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application. We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH, just past our local airport. THANKS.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
