Oreo, a little long-haired black and white tabby, was abandoned. AALOC took him in and a vet verified he is healthy. Now Oreo is ready to find a new home. Oreo is still growing and is so small he can be easily hurt. So for this reason we are recommending Oreo be adopted into a quiet home without children. As with most kittens, early human interaction is important to Oreo’s social development. Play at this stage of a cat’s life is also vital because it increases their physical coordination, confidence and curiosity, and teaches limits while they explore leadership ranking (who’s in charge) and how to be a cat. Oreo will also need some special attention and care to make sure he grows into a strong feline. Making sure Oreo eats the right food formulated for kitten growth and receives the necessary vaccinations and spaying/neutering during his first year is also important. Please submit an application to adopt Oreo. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Oreo during visiting hours (10am to 3pm daily) and get to know him a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our homepage at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aol.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.
