JAX is a handsome long-haired boy who loves attention.  He is pure black with a little white trim, a fluffy tail, and the thickest fur you have ever seen.  He is about eight years old, so he is ready to settle down.

When he first arrived he was not friendly, but he has settled in well.  Now he roams the room like he owns it, getting underfoot and looking for attention.  He likes being patted and cuddled, but being picked up is not on his agenda yet.  We are working on this.  He likes doors – he goes into the refrigerator when it’s opened.  He lurks by the room door, and bolts down the hall at every opportunity.  He has a real independent streak.

Jax seems to get along fine with the other cats in the room.  In the right home, he might turn into a couch potato, ready for the good life.  Come and meet this gorgeous dude!
