Description:
Meet Luca, an adorable 5-year-old black longhair neutered male cat who is extremely sweet and affectionate and just wants to be loved.

Luca has been partially disabled since he was 8 weeks old, when a child pulled his tail. :( He has lost partial use of his rear legs: he can walk, can use an open ended or low-lipped litter box, but he cannot jump. He walks on all four feet and waddles to get around. That said, he is playful as can be and has no other health problems!

This sweet boy is living with the vet tech who placed him when he was a baby, but now the owners can’t take care of him anymore and while she took him back in, she isn’t in a position to keep him permanently.

If you are interested in adopting Luca, please contact Debbie at Jake’s Place 415-548-0824 / email: adoptions@jakesplacecatrescue.org.

Luca is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
