In shelter Cat

Abbotsford, BC, V3G 2L5
Pet name:
Domestic Short Hair
Brown / Chocolate
Jackson is a people loving cat, he likes to be on your lap or near you for parts of the day. He Loves to talk to you, with a prominent meow when he wants attention. He enjoys chasing hair elastics or his laser beams. He is super gentle cat, especially when playing. He still can be skiddish with noises. We think that he might do well with a friend, such as another cat or calmer dog, especially if his new family is not home during the day. We are a family of 4, with two girls ages 11 and 13, with only a guinea pig. A busy family with really young kids and lots of chaos might be too much for him. We have been able to leave him for 3-5 days with someone coming in 2x a day to socialize and feed him etc. He is clever in regards to being able to open lever handle style doors and does not like to be trapped in/out of rooms, preferring to be close to us. He sleeps with us at night.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
