Domestic Shorthair, Orange Tabby

Ricky has grown up at the shelter. He started out as a very scared kitten who only found comfort in his feline buddies. He is in our cat sanctuary and does very well with the other cats. Ricky loves our screened- n porch (but does not try to escape or get out). He is still very shy of people and sudden movements, but has made great strides, and while he does not want to be picked up, once he knows you he will flop down in front of you, wanting you to kneel down and pet him. He loves pets on his own terms. Ricky would need just the right home, with at least one friendly and affectionate feline buddy, and a family who would give him plenty of time to adjust.

It is an $50 adoption fee to adopt a cat or kitten and includes spay/neuter, FIV testing, Feline Leukemia testing, Heartworm testing, de-wormer, rabies, microchip, and a general health exam. No profit is generated from the adoption fee.

Adoption applications can be filled out online at: http://www.inapl.org/adoption-application.html

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
