Description:
Hi, my name is Rhett!

I was brought to the shelter as a stray in June of 2022, over 100 days ago.

I am the sweetest boy in the world, but I just dont know how to show it here. Ive lived most (if not all) of my life on the streets, so this is all scary and new to me. I dont have an aggressive bone in my body though. I tend to cower when staff approach me, but when they start petting me, I do this cute thing where I snuggle into myself. Speaking of which, I love to snuggle into anything. If you pick me up, Ill snuggle into your arms; give me a blanket, and Ill make it into my personal nest. I would do good with cats and kids, and dogs.

I am a neutered male, up to date on vaccines, a little less than a year old. I also have a deformity in my eyes (no indication it affects my vision) that make my pupils have a ""broken glass"" effect that staff has said looks beautiful.

Please apply for me! An adoption application can be downloaded from the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org.
