"THE LAKE STREET SIX" -- CLASSIC CATS just like the ones at grammas house!

Floppy is one of 6 who were put out on the street after their caretaker died. They were painstakingly gathered up over the course of two months. We hope that they might be adopted in the pairings they naturally fall into, if possible, so that they might have a familiar face to spend the rest of their lives with. Floppys natural partner is Tiger. But if you are especially interested in Floppy alone, we can consider that!

They were offspring of a feral mom, but they became comfortable and affectionate mostly-indoor cats. 

Floppy is estimated to be possibly 9 years old, negative for FIV and leukemia, freshly vaccinated. 

Floppy is a CH kitty -- which means he was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition that is not contagious, not progressive, but causes his movements to be a little jerky and uncoordinated. It doesnt affect his lifespan or his sweetness. It just means you might want to be sure he is able to easily get to all the things he needs without hurting himself. 

Hes got a medium-sized physique and weight, plenty active and energetic. Hes robust and healthy.

He is quiet and gentle, doesnt like loud noises and commotion. But he is totally lovable and happy to receive pets and kisses. In relaxed settings, he loves to body-bump you over and over again, and then rolls to his side for more rubbing. 

Floppys an enthusiastic and flexible eater and has stable, normal elimination. Weve recently started him on urinary tract health food because his bloodwork shows just a hint of early kidney disease which can be managed with diet. We are supposed to retest soon to see if we can determine the rate of change he is exhibiting. 

His age is an estimate because original paperwork was not available. He was neutered years ago (and eartipped because caretaker continued to let him go outside part of the day) but weve updated his snap tests, vaccines and confirmed his neuter status.
