Jaws was brought to us by a local trapper a few months ago. When he first came in, he wasnt in the best of shape, and it became very clear that something was wrong. He wasnt eating any of the good stuff we offered him. After a weekend of fluids and monitoring, he was seen by our vet, who discovered that he was shot in the face, which resulted in a hole in his jaw, hence the name. It has taken some hard work from our animal caretakers to get him back to full health and show him all the love he deserves. Its not uncommon to find him snuggled up in a blanket with his tongue sticking out. This is due to his injury. It has also been discovered that he loves scratches from a toothbrush, of all things! Jaws would prefer a much quieter life now, which consists of being solely indoors, but he is more than ready to find his furever home. If you are interested in giving this big love bug a home, then head over to our website today and fill out an adoption application. You can also come on down to the shelter and pay him a visit.
