This is a courtesy post for Niko to try to find him a furever home. Niko is not in Sparkle Cat Rescues foster program but is being fostered independently by his rescuer. Niko was rescued on 7/31/22 as an abused stray and is now enjoying his luxurious indoor life with his foster family. Niko is a sweet boy, who has never showed aggression to humans since his rescue, regardless of the abuse he has endured in the past. His foster family is working with him to build trust daily to prepare him for his future forever home. Everyday, Nikos ability to trust is growing.



Niko is a low-key, quiet guy, who enjoys extended naps. He is a goofball, but is cautious in showing that side to some people. His forever home should be a patient household, as he will likely take time to trust his new family. Niko is estimated to be a 5 years old, neutered male. Niko is FIV+. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, and relatively normal lives. Niko just needs the right family to give him a chance. Niko has a clean bill of health, other than being FIV+.
