Description:
Im a sweet, active, curious brown tabby with a whole lot of love and silliness to give. Ive come a long way in foster care, from being scared of hands and running off to hide to happily climbing into my foster dads lap and draping my arms across my foster moms hands to ask for more pets and treats. In fact, Ive become a love bug. I enjoy greeting people when they come home or enter a room. Ive been around big dogs, and after a few days of me telling them whos boss, Ill even curl up with them. Im curious about other cats and am eager to make friends with them. I love to play with toys. A wand toy is the best way to help me settle in, along with lots of treats (I can be bribed) and petting me while I eat. It took me a week to settle in at my foster parents home. I might get scared of your hand at first if you approach my head, so its best to start scratching my back and butt. Go slow with me; give me treats, and Ill learn to trust you. Well be besties for life. My litter box skills are on point, and I eat well, both dry food and canned food. Did I mention I like treats? If you have room to bring home some extra silliness, please consider adopting my sister, Norreen, too. Well keep you smiling and laughing for hours!Meet Dif, Soren and Norreen at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4 on Saturday. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
