Young, whipper snapper to say the least! Basil has an odd story. Basil was trapped as a "feral" kitten in a parking lot. Basil was one wild little kitten. The staff couldnt do anything to make him domesticate. After many months in a cage, the humane thing to do was let him out of the cage so he could exerciser. Basil was leery at first, shy and would run from staff. Then one day.... he snapped and he decided that humans are fun. The staff now get good laughs as he runs from person to person and chasing anything that moves. His absolute favorite thing is pens! He steals absolutely every pen he can find, hunts it, kills it then makes it disappear magically! Basil needs a busy home with LOTS to play with. The shelter is has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating and we welcome any inquires.
