You know those friendships that just bring out the best in both people? That’s Nubs & Gumby for you. 5year old Nubs is a special guy that was born with two underdeveloped back legs. Even though his missing his back paws, that doesn’t slow this kid down from zooming around like any other cat! Nubs was incredibly nervous & timid when first entering our care - until he found that one special friend to boost his confidence and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place! Cue 4 year old, FIV+ Gumby to the rescue! Nubs has taught Gumby that a leisurely life of headbutts & snuggles from another cat is what life’s all about, and this pair is just the definition of #BFFGoals.  Gumby has brought that spark out in Nubs, is his rock when he’s nervous or scared, and pushes him to come out and socialize more than ever. They look for each other at every moment, will take turns dolphin diving in front of you for pets (they’ll also remind you that you have TWO hands, so get to petting both of them why don’t you!), and will do anything for an extra snack.

Our standard cat adoption fee is $150, and the adoption fee for declawed cats in $175. Due to the amount of medical care we invest in each of our animals, we do not offer discounts when adopting more than one pet. We do same-day adoptions and do not place holds on animals.
