Call me Mikey. Foster-human mom only calls me Michael when Im busy doing really fun stuff - like jumping on one of my older foster brothers back or stalking one of my foster sister or trying to sneak attack one of them while they are in the litter box. She says it really loud too. Like MICHAEL! - much louder than she says Mikey. Shes a strange human. Anyway, I love to play. Ive learned a game that foster-human calls parkour - it is so much fun and Im really good at it. It makes me really tired though so I take long naps after playing that game. I snuggle up close to foster-human so she will pet me while I fall asleep. She always calls me Mikey, in a really soft voice, when Im snuggly. I have a place on my right side where my fur feels different - thats because I had a bad injury when this amazing girl found me. I was in a big open place, trying to hide under these weird things that sometimes got loud and then moved. I tried to get humans to notice me but no one did. I was really scared and cold and hungry. The amazing girl came to go in the big building where all the other humans went in and out of but she was different. She saw me and didnt look away. She let me rub on her legs and she picked me up. She put me in one of the weird things (it wasnt as loud on the inside) and snuggled me close and took me to a place she called home. It was the most awesome day of my life even though my side hurt really bad. She gave me food and water and a soft bed too! I went to a place the next day where a lady shaved my sore side and then poked me with something sharp. I thought it was very rude and I tried to be mad at her but she talked really soft and made my heart feel mushy like my amazing girl did so I didnt bite or scratch her (lucky her cause I have skills). The lady did some other very rude things and then let me sleep. She told the foster-human that I had several bite wounds and they looked bad but with the antibiotic they would heal. Foster-human took me to her place called home and Ive been enriching her life since then. Oh, the fur on my right side is catching up with the rest of my fur - you cant even tell the difference when you look at me - it just feels different when you pet me. I havent been around dogs or children but I love everything and am not scared of anything. Even if you have a dog or a children, youll still want me - Im so awesome. Im very self confident and fairly independent too. You can submit an adoption application for Mikey at http://www.myhstc.org/cats.
