Description:
Jerry is a special kitty born April 2021. Jerry has CH, cerebral hypoplasia, nothing contagious, but is actually a genetic disorder that happen in the womb. He is perfectly fine other than his gait is somewhat unstable, his peripheral vision isnt as it should be, and he doesnt climb exactly like a normal kitty. But none of this slows him down one bit! He is faster than his fosters other cats, braver then them at times, and just an all around fun boy! He loves to run and wrestle the other kitties in the home, climb the 6 foot cat tree to the top like Tarzan, and then jump off the top. He loves to chase toys around and is a normal kitty as long as you treat as such! He is sooo cuddly too. At night he loves to curl up between your arm and your ribs and will snuggle all night if you let him. When he picks his person, and you come home from work, he will run to great you and makes a calling sound to find you. Jerry knows his name and will at times come when called too. He is very smart and if he cant jump up on something, he will stand up and ask for help too. He gives "hugs" when he is picked up and his love language is a pure and play growl mix, its funny. He would do great with either a family who is home most of the time or in a home where the family come and go but has another kitty friend who will accept him and play with him too. He will do ok with a gentle dog who doesnt get in his face. He gets on beds and chairs by climbing them, as he cant jump like regular cats can. When he climbs the side of the bed, he primarily pulls his whole body up with his front legs, so he has to almost spider his was up. Otherwise he is ground level at all times. He may have a different way to get around, but he is a happy, healthy boy who is loving and nothing will stop him.
