Hey Jude! This handsome kitten is curious, outgoing, and very adventurous. He has no fear - we find him on the tallest perches. He is extremely playful and could play for hours. He is friendly and handle-able... he doesnt even mind his nails being clipped. There are no dull moments around him! Jude could do well in a home with kids, other cats, and maybe even dogs with a slow introduction. Jude is estimated to be about 6.5 months old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Hed love to be adopted into a home with one of his eight foster friends, or to a place where theres an existing resident cat he can be friends with. Disclaimer: Jude came to TCR with 11 other kittens around the same age. Three of the kittens were subsequently diagnosed with FIP. FIP is caused by a commonly contracted feline coronavirus (FeCV), which must mutate within the cat to become FIP. FIP can have a genetic component, making some littermates more susceptible to succumbing to the disease. We do not know which of these 12 kittens are littermates, as they were brought in from outside at the same time and are all around the same age. They have all been fostered together and have all had exposure to the FeCV virus. FIP most commonly occurs in cats younger than 1.5 years of age. Jude is currently healthy, but to be overly cautious we would want to discuss the typical symptoms of FIP and what to watch out for with any interested adopters.
