Description:
My name is Riku, Prince Riku to be exact. I may look mean and lazy but thats just because my foster mom is too slow to capture all the cuteness I exude when Im on the hunt or playing with my foster family. Ive been told I am one of a kind - my meows sound like a baby t-rex and my tiny size allows me to snuggle up anywhere close to you. I have a tendency of getting a bit rough when you rub my belly but thats only because Im too excited. I may be 5 yrs old and FIV positive but it doesnt stop me from acting like a kitten. I love it when I hear my name especially if I know its snack time - Ill come running to you at lightning speed. I love food - you could probably train me to do tricks as long as I know there is food involved. One thing I dont like is being picked up... Ill allow it for a short amount of time but I prefer if you let me come to you. I get along with other cats but I can also play independently.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
